When I stepped into my room the other day I saw my big black garbage bag peeking out of my closet. That garbage is not your ordinary trash but full of my winter attire I could not stash in the tight space. Then I realized that the chilly & rainy, the typical weather of Vancouver has arrived and will be staying until next year. I am unsure where you guys live but the continuous gloomy days aren’t much of a help to long working hours stuck in an office.

Fall is the time for dark hues of purple, brown , black, taupe and etc… I for one dyed my hair to a dark chocolatey brown from a light pink beige brown I rocked over the summer. My make-up consisted of a light Korean (of course) BB cream, a light coral cream blusher,  a Lioele Pop Pinky Tint and my favorite C-Thru lip gloss from _ _ _. Now I bring back the darker colors of brown & gray eye shadows, black to dark brown eye liners and barely there lip sticks. Does that remind you of a figure? A lonely single lady embracing the “cold”. You may spot me strolling with a half coat with a knee high boots with all of the above..on my own…. depressing………..ANYWAY let’s move on.

Despite the overwhelming darkness, Autumn looks are still something you can enjoy only in this season. If you want a hint of sparkle or vibrant touch to your customized do, try a few daring nail colors. This is the set I’ve kept for myself to last through this season and here are the application images for you all to see.

I had my hair cut short in 2009 when all the stress in the world lay upon me and I needed a refreshing change.

My hair stylist freaked out and repeatedly asked me “진짜로? 그렇게 짧게? 길렀는데 아깝잖아..” in English simply “OMG”.

From that I have tried four totally different bobs in 6 months time. Long side-bang A-Line, Straight Frontal-Bang A-line + Reddish Brown hair, “Designer Cut” [my stylist (dealt with multiple well-known Korean celebrities like Han Ye Seul, Choi Kang Hee, Brown Eyed Girls etc...) worked his magic and spent a lot of time on this particular do which I was very dissatisfied that I almost cried...It was unique yet too of a Pixy Cut with a mullet aka. horse tail flinging behind]. Finally a couple of weeks after I asked him to give me a cute, short Korean style bowl cut. He now fears me when I see him. I have an appointment with him next week to trim off my current. I should be more nice!

Anyway.. since last August I let my hair grow out without giving it its well-deserved pampering. From that short-bowl cut I managed to let my hair bypass my shoulder lines but not much longer than that. If you have a wide forehead, apply eyeliner on the part of the picture above. It makes your eyes look deeper and prettier.

It is also better to apply it under your eyes to look more natural.

You can apply eyeliner easily if you pull the part like the picture below.

There are many girls who have monolid eyes. The eyeline style should be different if you have monolid eyes.

It is extremely important to remove any oiliness around your eyes to prevent smudging because you have to draw thick eyelines.

Step 1. Remove any oiliness with a powder pact(Oil paper pact) or Q-tips

Step 2. Close your eyes first and check where to draw the line.

Step 3. Apply a light eyeshadow on the line first, not to make a mistake of the thick eyeline.

Step 4. Apply eyeliner like a picture above.

Eyeliner can be smudged or removed by Oiliness, so it is very important to remove any oiliness with a oil paper powder pact or Q-tips before applying eyeliner.

You don’t have to apply eyeliner at once. You can just apply it little by little, between eyelashes, like a picture above.
