I got this product yesturday along with my items at facetrade. & This is going to be my review for it.
Reason why i bought this product: To clean my foundation, Stippling , Lip & Concealer brushes.
In order to keep your make-up bushes clean & to avoid getting Skin trouble caused from the bacteria from using brushes for a longtime without washing you need to wash your make-up brushes not just letting it rest with stuff on for a long time.
I tried it after at home , i took out almost all my make-up brushes and did as directed. It was my first time using a brush cleanser for cleaning brushes cause i'm not very old at make-up stuff , i just started getting make-up and putting it on just from like less than a year ago, so i didn't have makeup brushes to clean cause i had used none since than !: )
So anyways i did as directed , and it does a good job at getting stuff out of the brush .. but , when cleaning my loving stippling brush that i absoulutely love from elf , it was brand new and all that ive used for only twice .. but it had powder colouring at the white end part of the brush so thats why i was washing it , and i was a bit scared i'm gona ruin my new brush that i love , and so i washed it safely and then i squeezed it in a way by pushing it to the side of the container cup , and i saw black colouring coming off from the brush . The brush was black and white at the bottom half part , and i used no black makeup stuff with it only mineral powder so the black colouring coming off was from my brush when cleansed . I don't know if its the brush's fault or the cleanser that made the colouring of the brush go off , i just don't know but i was prety sad _:( But anyways ..
Right now that brush is drying .
Oh another last thing i wanna mention is the scent of the cleanser. I've read reviews on this cleanser before on official lioele site before buying , and a lot of people mentioned about the strong scent / smell of the cleanser.
It wasn't bad as i imagined , but it is kinda strong . you don't reallly mind when you just smell it in the container , but when you actually wash the brushes and smell the brushes after , it'll bother you :( It's a reallly strong scent of strawberry jello ? and nailpolish remover kinda ting mixed together .. Odd scent , but anyways I think this is 4 stars for the rating .
